MSc project: AGENTS OF DUME!
The first cartoon created in Unreal Engine!
As part of my masters course, we were tasked with creating a project that would use technology in new, creative, or innovative ways, and with the experience I'd gained from my BSc games technology course I came up with the idea of creating a cartoon using the same methods that game developers would use to create a video game.
This project became Agents of Dume; a 3D cartoon made in Unreal Engine, but using cel-shading and animation industry techniques such as frame dropping, I was able to give the visuals a cartoony, comic book style vibe.
